2 wigs together?

Post by Black-Sunshine » Wed Jul 15, 2009 4:55 pm

Hi

I was just wondering if this is possible..

My boyfriend wants half black half white hair, but without any dying, like two face. So we were wondering if it would be possible to sew two wigs together. I have 2 profesional only wigs I could do this with.

Heres a pic to get the idea :)

Any info or suggestions would be great, thanks :D

You might want to poke around the forums at Katiebair.com. I know that some really complex character wigs can require sewing more than one together, so the people there might have pointers. :)

There r wig companies that sell half black half white wigs; if u don't want to buy new, I've known of People sewing together 2 wigs. I don't have any tips though. Goodluck!

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. I would cut each wig just over the half way line, so you had a inch wide seam to stitch together up the center, This way you can stitch it on the inside and not mess up the parting too much.
