Wanted - Ways to make Fringes.
I saw the hand tied way of making fringes. But I was wondering it there are other ways?
I have some left over real hair wefts from my old extensions and I wanted to see if I could put them to use.
I was considering sewing the hair wefts to a head band. But Im not sure how good that would look. Just wondering if any one knows any other methods.
Thanks in advance!

Wig clips! Two or three usually do the trick, and make the fringe easy to install/remove.
Aside from that, in the good ol' days, I used to 'cheat' by wearing a hat, scarf, handkerchief or bandanna and just slip the weft under this so you couldn't see the tracks, leaving the longer parts to hang down.
I'm sure it would be easy to sew or glue the wefts to a cloth type head band and use that as well.

I've sewed weft to stretch hair bands before--seriously, it works GREAT! The front of my head is too sensitive for clips, but I found the stretch hair bands too bulky-->hence why I've started hand tying. Here's an example:
See it in the bottom left? totally easy and convenient.
PS: I'm moving this thread over to the Discussion section, since no tutorial has really been provided.

Oooh elastic, that's a good idea. I usually use clips, but because my hair isnt as long as it used to be, the clips pull on my fringe and fall out of place sometimes! I shall try elastic sometime Plus you can get colours to match ur hair which is neat x
