how would you make a fake mohican for a bald head?

as the title really, its for someone who has lost their hair due to chemotherapy so it needs to be soft, im guessing there is no way and it would have to be a full wig, can anyone advise?

You can make a fake hairpiece by cutting wig mesh and sewing wefts on which is then glued to the head using latex glue, the kind you use for fake eyelashes. It wouldn't stand up to hardcore wear but it works. I am sure there are tutorials on this somewhere...

Sorry this is a bit late, but here are some tips:

yes, what Dystopatica said will work, but it may be easier to sew tracks to soft elastic, like there is in the back of a typical wig. also, chemotherapy patients have very sensitive scalps, so it can be helpful to line the piece with a piece of soft, thin cotton knit. you can cut up a t-shirt for this, and it will help a lot. the other type of glue I might recommend is called spirit gum. you can typically find it at a costume store, with theatrical makeup. apply it to the scalp first, just in a few key areas, like where the front and back edges will sit, then tap it to make it tacky, then press the piece onto this, and it should hold up a bit better. make sure to get the remover for this glue, though, and take time removing it, as it is very strong. hope this is helpful, and good luck!
