HELP! and some advice!
Hi to everyone!
i'm an italian girl and in my city there isn't any type of materials to make fake dreads with wool, so i bought the roving wool from the site 21 century yarns. I have no experience at all and often do not understand the technical terms in english so I would like some advice from you who are experienced. i post here a photo of the roving wool that arrived today!

Umm, do you know the process of felting? there is many tutorials on this website. It's the process where you use hot soapy water to soak the dreads, then roll them in your hands as you pull them out the water. As i said, do a search on here as there is pictures too.

It looks like you have something called "pencil roving." Is it in one long piece?

Re: HELP! and some advice!
That it wound merino wool roving. I used to supply that... its great for just braiding straight into the hair or as falls without doing anything to it (except maybe squishing the ends into a point). It just has a slightly more crinkly look than than home made felted dreads, and its soft because its wound/spun and not felted.Nofun wrote:Hi to everyone!
