Hey folks! Aint been around for a while so feel a bit guilty jumping straight back in with a question but any help would be greatly appreciated. I have an order on for some dreads for a friend of mine, we are wanting to match her current hair colour as closely as possible. Here is a recent pic:
Any ideas as to where to get the best natural merino roving colours? I've tried ebay and folksy but they're throwing up nothing, I'm currently on etsy and finding some possibilities but i would like some more suggestions so i know I'm heading in the right direction and have second, third, fourth etc. opinions!
We're thinking a few shades will look more natural than just one colour so please do throw in as many as you think will work for this lovely young lady!
Thank folks!

llama roving and Camel roving provide MUCH better blonde hues than Sheep roving. Here's an example from Etsy. However, llama and Camel are also more expensive and more difficult to felt, but they are super freaking lovely SOFT.

I've been trying, for ages, to get a REALLY good natural blonde roving... I'm still searching.

Try wingham wool! They have hundreds of shades of colours, and usually if you email them with a picture they are pretty helpful in reccomending which colours are closest! Hope that helps some!

I've just made some dreads using their shade "buttermilk" and it's a lovely pale blonde colour - I think it would at least be good to match her highlightsthecutealternative wrote:Try wingham wool! I can post pics of the dreads if you'd like
