Okay, so for my first proper photoshoot (yay!) one of the models will be wearing some black and white dreads. The thing is, I tend to go overboard with ideas and have all sorts of different things together and it ends up looking a bit... uncohesive...
So! So far I have done these (not properly felted up yet, they will end up being quite firm and straight)
The ones at the top are ones that I definitely want in the set, because they're the only wrapped sort of ones in the shoot. I'm also hoping to have some white ones with black wrapping as well. Close up they look like this
I also have some plain twists
And some twisted transitionals
So do I just have the wrapped ones just by themselves?
Or the wrapped ones with the twists?
Or the wrapped ones with the transitionals?
Or all of them together?
If you have an opinion about which one looks best (so far) PLEASE let me know! I'm having a conundrum!
I need your expert aethetic opinions! (much pics)

From the first pic: I'd do the top pile and the solid black ONLY.
EDIT: wrapped with solids. IMO

i think I agree. Less is more in some cases. It adds emphasis to the wrapped ones if they are the only ones used. Otherwise you risk it being too busy.
