Made a natural set for a friend

Post by Leanna Moore » Sat Apr 23, 2011 3:30 am

OKAYSO, my friend needed a new set of dreads to go with her new hair color (Red) so I offered to make her a set. She supplied 2/3rds of the hair, and in return? I get a super awesome crocheted BEAR hat!

Colors are:
Red, Sweet red, bubblegum pink, black, and a blend that I made with IKS's newer reds and dark purple.
I also added a couple little feathers (:

Count: 40 DE's and 4 SE's (which I made the holes of WAIIIII too huge)

I was as sick as a dog while I made these, thought I'd only take 5 or 6 days but ended up more than that- but that happens when your in the emergency every night almost for 6 days straight FUUUUU
anyways, enough virtual rambling- here they are.

Sorry we didn't do your install this week. I have had this cough for ages ad the codeine has made me pretty much dead to the world. I am so far behind on everything.

But Mom said that she would help me install your dreads and also you can come any time to pick out the colors for your bear hood :D

I will find out when her days off are so we can set something up asap.

I fried my hair pretty bad trying to take some color out so I'd like the get mine in soon give my head a rest from all that hairspray

No worries. I understand, I have mono and my body's not handling it well, one of my tonsils rotted off and I feel as sick as a- well I dunno what but something pretty bad

Yay bear hood!

if its okay, maybe your mom could help me install yours as well? I know its alot to ask for, but I have pinched nerves in my neck and its super painfull to keep my arms raised/moving for long ):

Thank you (: I /HAD/ to add feathers to see how it would look and it ended up looking pretty nifty.
