It was in June but I've been very lazy about sorting out my pictures. It was an absolutely fabulous day with all our guests getting into the steampunk spirit I have very happy memories!

Dystopatica - The venue was the Playfair Library which is part of Edinburgh University's Old College. It's an absolutely gorgeous venue and very appropriate as both me and my OH are academics and graduates of Edinburgh Uni. Oh, and it's pretty damn steampunk too

Thanks everyone. I was so happy with how involved the guests got. Our family and friends are obviously just crazy enough to like that kind of thing. My Dad got really into it!

Oh wow, that is so spectacular! Im really impressed that everyone participated in the style, even your parents. That adds so much to the atmosphere.
I had to look at all your pictures on flickr. What a wonderful idea for a wedding and so well executed. I have to admit that I am usually not too keen on steampunk. There are too many bad adaptations out there. But yours wedding pictures really impressed me. Respect.
