got crazy with crin *pic heavy*

Post by Flower In Furs » Sat Sep 18, 2010 4:19 am

Yay for delicious hair things!

saw a tut for making hair bows (with synth hair) and decided i could make regular bows :)
and everyone seems to be loving them it's pretty cool!!

Image

then i ordered some crin from doc's and i have been going nuts! Do you think these are sellable? (is that a word haha?) I just want to sell locally and wanted to know your opinions on what i should do:

Image

these we're inspired by the first cyberlox i ever bought from ipukeglamour, i loved the rainbow so i made my own rainbow!

The rest were inspired by jolly ranchers :D

These are so awesome! I would pay money for a set. They are colorful and bright and make me crave fruit candies :i2:

Oooh, some of those are amazing - one thing I would say though is to poke the end of your crin in on itself - that way you won''t have the rough edge from the cut visible.

It's the little details that take you from amateur to seller - keep on going!!!

The only crit I have is I think you should add more crin to the falls, they don't seem nearly as full as they should be, especially the ones inspired by I Puke Glamour.

Yeah I agree, I was trying to be a little conservative with the crin, but i have plenty left so I am going to add more for sure, but thank you.

Haha, I completely understand that as I know how expensive it can be to make cyberlox.

haha thank you! They are super duper easy! I just use scrap fabric so it doesn't cost me anything, and then glue something huge and lovley to the center! win win situation :)

I'm usually not a big fan of rainbow in anything hair related unless it's done really well and isn't overly obnoxious but I sang 'fabulous' when I saw those Ipukeglamour-insipired rainbow falls in the second picture of the post.

They just drip neon crayon Carebear. I love them. The only I thing that would make me love them more is if they were more full like someone said before me.

awe thank you :i2: :i2: :i2: !! I actually took that advice and made them much fuller!! Now I adore them to the max!
How much do you guys think a selling price would be, i was thinking 20 25, but i don't know if that's too high or too low :/ Now that they have more Crin I'm not sure.

this is what they looked like on before i added more

Image

and i am about to take a picture of them fuller and i will post that too!

the bangs are by candy acid :P
and the model is my sister haha

Hehe no problems :)
I've got short hair at the moment. I'm letting it
grow a bit so I can install some transitionals I've started making :)
