haha awww that's too cute!

and the hyacinth looks great. i'm gonna have to pick some up.

if you have thick plastic hangers, you can use them for DE's or break off the bottom part and use that for SE and DE's. also, broom handles, drumsticks.

i think that your purple and wine red dreads are fantastic, that definitely not a couple of colors i would have chosen to mash together, but it makes the red look so much prettier and vibrant. also you make me glad i picked up a couple bags of hyacinth, i haven't touched them yet but you sure got me excited

Here are my newest dreads that I've made. I think i've gotten to a 'wear-able' point, and after i use all this hair up I plan on making my first real set, for myself. I already know what I want it to look like. :)

anyways, without further adieu, Here are my pink and white tansitionals!

I'm working on getting a steamer, and a better dread station cause mine is super uncomfortable. D:

anyways, thats what i've made today. safe to say that these are the besti've made so far, and if i had to guess this is probably about the 6th day of making dreads for me.

I'm super interested in roving/felting too, i hope in time i can make a nice set of wool dreads, as well as some natural looking dreads. oh man! much to do. :)

anyways, thanks for viewing, and let me know what ya think?

Wow impressive how much you've taught yourself in such a short time! Your dreads' quality have gone up a 1000% since the first ones you made. I would definetly wear dreads as the pink/white transitionals :)

she wanted them for irish and i need the practice so i did them for free (obviously) i thought i'd share.

I'm so envious of your transitionals. It took me FOREVER to make mine not suck, and I still struggle with certain colors from time to time. Awesome job and I love the fact that you're trying all kinds of techniques and your enthusiasm is great! Keep showing us your new stuff!

Thank you guys so much!

Ironically enough transitional s are my strongest suite lol. at least for now. This weekend I plan on trying my first harlequins which will also be my second attempt at double enders. Although they are more like single enders attached to each other but its a start. Maybe i will try to make another DE this weekend. I haven't tried since my first failed attempt. hehe. I need to try again though.

I am so glad you guys don't think i'm fishing for compliments cause I'm not. I live with my boyfriend and he has no idea what i'm doing really he just says i'm playing with my hair. lol. I'm not from where I live so i don't have many friends at all, especially none with any common interests. (my friends are his friends or co-workers. lol) so its hard for me to get any feedback on anything. I'm really open to criticism so don't be afraid to touch on something i can improve with any tips or suggestions as well.

I really do appreciate the compliments a LOT because i've always been envious of dreads i think they are gorgeous and i took a shot in the dark making them but it has turned out to be very fun and fulfilling thing to do. :)
