Wool beginner

Post by Candied_Angel » Sat May 22, 2010 8:39 pm

So I'm El Pooro so I bought about 2 lbs of wool batting instead of roving and I've been playing with it ever since I got it on Wednesday.

Here's some pictures of the two dreads that I've made so far:

The one I made today. 32" unfolded 16" folded

The one I made a day ago. 26" unfolded 13" folded

Funny thing is, I think i started with the same amount of batting for both. The first one I made is a lot fatter than the second one. So I guess it's all in how much I roll. ^.^

Here's some felt balls I made using the Crunchyparent.com Youtube tutorial. The smallest one is the one my little sister made. The biggest one is about 6" in diameter.

I think I'm going to make some bobbles out of them once they're dry and I have some elastic thread that won't be used up in kandi making. ^.^

They actually turned out quite well. And those bobbles are gonna look AWESOME when they are done. Such a great idea!
